The project's area of influence comprises the province of Tarragona, in the south of Catalonia. This is an area of some 6,000 km² with a population of 800,000 which reaches as many as 1,000,000 people if we take into account links to strategic areas within the winegrowing area of Alt Penedès.
It is located in a dynamic and vibrant area thanks to its proximity to Barcelona ¿ a world-class metropolitan region ¿ and to its position at an intersection between two primary axes of development: the Mediterranean Arch and the Ebro Valley.
