Congress on Tourism Cooperation and Development
The II Congreso Coodtur: Temas pendientes y nuevas oportunidades en turismo y cooperación takes place from 16 to 20 November at the University of Quintana Roo (Playa del Carmen campus) Chetumal, Mexico.
To create a forum for discussion and reflection, from an academic perspective and research on topics such as the impact of tourism on local communities, new realities and strategies for tourism development and cooperation; and add knowledge in the research field of tourism as a tool for development cooperation, and provide a space to facilitate future research collaborations.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Tourism and Geography, Department of Geography and the research group Territorial Analysis and Tourism Studies (GRATET), URV; Network COODTUR, the Universidad del Caribe and the Universidad de Quintana Roo, the Cuerpo Académico Turismo y Sostenibilidad (ATS) and the Cuerpo Académico de Geografía y Geomática.
