Andrea Curioni is Full Professor of Food Science and Technology at the University of Padova (Italy) and Head of the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology. He teaches in the area of food and wine chemistry and biochemistry and supervises the laboratories of Food Science and Technology at the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology in Padova. He leads the research in Enology at the CIRVE (Centro Interdipartimentale per la Ricerca in Viticoltura ed Enologia) in Conegliano. Author of more than 100 scientific papers. His research interests concern mainly the biochemistry of agro-food products, with particular attention to the proteins involved in food systems, including wine.
